[@Arista] Ah that's right! I keep getting this and our other plot mixed up a bit. 

Silas's physical description kicked my butt. It's the one thing that took me the longest and I wrote it four different times before deciding that it was good enough. 

I might go add more onto his history though, or I'll end up rewriting it.
