Adam Li in his new Black Dragon armor dropped into the cockpit of the Black Dragon Thunderzord. The citizens below knew when to evacuate whenever something like this went down, so the three buildings were less of a priority if this scenario. The few times the creatures of the young Rita Repulsa have grown in size, only about twelve percent of the buildings in Angel Falls were damaged total. Still, if the men and women of the city see a giant dead tree monster... they know to get away as safely as possible. 

The Dragonzord wrapped itself around the creature like a python, the Black Ranger jabbing at one of the remaining stones with the front of the Zord's head and mouth. 

"C'mon, just a crack... then I'll push the big red button...!" he thought out loud.

The jewel in the head of the Deadwood creature cracked and the Ranger pushed the big red button. A ball of fire grew in the open mouth of the Black Dragon Thunderzord and fired from the robotic mouth like a cannonball of fire and energy. The jewel shattered, the creature screamed in pain, caught of guard at the strength of the unfamiliar Zord. 

"Where did the Rangers get THAT thing? Use your ghost powers Deadwood, BEFORE THE RANGERS DESTROY YOU!" screamed Rita from her moon base looking on through a mystical window in space/time.

The monster knew it's days were numbered and it phased through the mechanical grip of the Dragonzord. Appearing just on the other side the creature elongated its arms and branched out, grabbing the snake like robot and body slamming it out of the air. It seemed the Black Dragon Ranger was on the ropes now, still not fully trained on this new Zord's abilities and operating systems. 

[b]Back at HQ...[/b]

 "Alpha what is the situation?", asked the [color=red]Red Tyrannosaurus Ranger[/color] teleporting into the command chamber. 
 
 "The Black Ranger claimed the power of the Dragonzord, but the Deadwood creature is on the rebound. Adam took out the jewel on the head. It only has one eye remaining..." Alpha 5 commented in his usual nervous tone. 
 
"I can sense the [color=hotpink][b]Pink Ranger[/b][/color] has activated her Zord and has begun ascending as well into the Phoenix! But Adam needs help now..." Zordon spoke. 

"There's no telling how long the process will take, Red Ranger! Teleport to the city and activate your Red Tyrannosaurus Dinozord before it's too late!" Alpha exclaimed. 

[b]Back in the city...[/b]

"Is anybody out there? Zordon? Danny? I can't take too many more hits like this!" screamed the Black Ranger.
