Probably. I find that a lot of people in advanced try to add unnecessary details to their post just to make them look longer. It's a common problem with a lot of writers, but I personally feel like it's an unnecessary problem. You should write as much as you have to say and make that as good as you can. Writing Fitzgerald style can be great, but so can Hemmingway.
