[indent]Born on July 13th of 1990, Olivia is the seventh child of Cassiopeia and Reginald Carrington. Right off the bat she was placed under the care of nannies, which meant that there had never been a direct relationship between her and her parents that went beyond the rare and occasional family dinners. Even so, Liv grew up beautiful, happy and spoiled by her brothers and eventually by her adoptive sister Tatiana, since she was the youngest Carrington female. Her non-existent relationship with her parents didn't seem to bother her, as she found in her siblings all the love and attention a child could need. If so, it made her more independent and safe to the pressures her other siblings faced, as if her parents had given up on the rest of their children. But they say all good things come to an end, and Olivia found her spotlight stolen when her parents decided to adopt Marisol.

After graduating middle school, entering adolescence, seeing her older siblings leave the family home and the growing animosity between her and her younger sister, Liv decided that the atmosphere in her home was one in which she couldn't continue to live in. Anxious to get away from Marisol and start making her own name, Liv did her research and convinced her parents to let her attend New York's prestigious Blackwood Pines Boarding Academy, and they accepted. Once there, she regained her spotlight by joining the volleyball team and was able to keep her spot all throughout those four years, going as far as playing in the Varsity team in her sophomore year and being Team Captain in her senior year. While the team made top spots at state and national competitions, it was during Liv's command that the team won first place at nationals. Her athlete status, easygoing attitude and charm made her quite popular in Blackwood Pines. She built close friendships (that still remained to this day) and, along with her good looks, got attention of plenty of boys. As any regular teenage girl, she had one or two high school boyfriends and her fair share of adventures, but nothing too crazy. Of course, friends, volleyball and boys were no excuse to let her grades slip in the slightest, and so she kept a high GPA and took several AP classes that would be useful in the career dream she had: run the marketing department of a prestigious fashion magazine. Working hard until the very end, Liv graduated with the third highest GPA of her school and was recruited by the University of Pennsylvania during one of her games.
 
During the course of her college years, she excelled in her major and in the volleyball court, and decided to have no romantic ties to focus all her attention to building up a future for herself in the professional world. At the same time, Liv began doing summer internships in various fashion magazines and gaining all the professional experience that she could. By the time she had graduated UPenn with high honors, her hard work (and maybe a little help from Cassiopeia and her friends, who knows?) had earned her a position as the Assistant of the Head of the Marketing Department in Vogue Magazine. Conveniently, Francine Humphrey was to retire in a few years. Recognizing the potential in Liv, Francine suggested that Liv pursue a master's degree in Public Relations, which would make her eligible for her position. The decision to get that master's degree would set the motions for her to meet Richard Davis... And the rest is history. Liv is scheduled to be Francine's successor by her 30th birthday.

Apart from her steady job at Vogue, Liv is excitedly putting together her baby's nursery on her and Rich's 'family home' and gathering as much information as possible on parenthood, savoring every moment of her blissful pregnancy in peace. No one in her family knows of her pregnancy, as she's chosen to keep it a secret to avoid any undesired stress that could affect her during this delicate time.
