Annie Dufrane
She'd long since gotten used to the sight of the frigid waters surrounding them, content to simply lounge about and enjoy the 'vacation' as much as she could while it lasted. It was nice, save for the frigid cold. She'd much rather be held up in her workshop, coal forge blasting heat even in the strongest winters. Here, even donned up with a heavy leather fur lined coat, it still sent shivers down her neck. Here, all she had were her Golems. She'd taken to keeping at least one with her at all times, for comfort and slight companionship. A feline shape sat curled up on her stomach, its bronze coat unaffected by the wind. Aptly named 'Kat', he was about the closest thing she had to a pet. Kat stood up suddenly, entranced by the flame sparking up nearby. Annie blinked once, remembering seeing the man sporting arms of flame. Firearms. With a quick mental command, her pet went forth, seeking the flame. All of her constructs had only mild amounts of intelligence, but they could act reasonably on their own. The construct rumbled lightly, frame shaking as it 'purred', rubbing against the man. For some odd reason, her metal constructs enjoyed seeking fire and warmth. It wasn't a surprise back home to see one or two of her more permanent constructs to be curled up in her forge, enjoying the red-hot flames. Kat, equally as heat seeking, leaped onto the boat's counter, pushing itself against the man's arms. Annie grinned, having gotten up and followed after her Golem, waved to the two her construct had interrupted. "Howdy. Sorry about Kat, there. He just loves fire. And, since you have literal firearms, he's just supporting your Second Amendment rights." She grinned lightly before holding out her hand to the boy and girl. "Name's Annie."
