Argus Leandros
He felt her anger before he heard her coming, and knew that he wasn't going to get away that easy. Normally he would've just shut it out, kept on running, and talk to her later. He had just gotten out of trouble and, this would land him right back into the doghouse. Hell, he wasn't even sure he was out as it was. But after his talk with Gabriel, he needed to vent, he needed to release this frustration and ager that he was feeling slowly broil inside him with this frustration. So as the sense of anger overwhelmed him, he embraced it, drawing it into himself in the form of a black smoke, leaving from Marlene's body and surrounding him in a dark haze. As she screamed her attack at him, Argus swiftly turned around, focusing all the anger and rage he had just absorbed into an attack of his own. Taking a deep breath, he let out a devastating beam of black and red energy, wide in it's spread as it raced along the ground, tearing through dirt and rubble as it collided with and annihilated the pink quartz dartz, heading straight for a collision course with Marlene. "Crimson Godslayer's Raging Bellow!" AFter the attack was finished, he summoned Crimson NIghtmare, brandishing the blade in the ready postion as he turned his eyes towards Jane. "Jane, this is between her and me, and since she doesn't seem like the type to give up easy, don't interfere. I want to end this here and now so I don't have to deal with her crazy ass again." As the magic began to take his hold, a cheeky smirk began to grow over his face as he turned his attention towards Marlene, who he was certain wouldn't be ended with that attack. "No matter how fine of an ass it is. Do you really think you can handle this, Glasses? Cause I don't think you're ready for what you've just signed up for." Argus knew that what he was saying where things only a man with a death wish would say, but he wanted her angry, he wanted he to be filled with anger, frustration, and feminine wrath. The more she raged, the stronger he'd become. A voice in the back of his head was telling him that this was a bad idea, that this would be too much for him to handle, but right now, he didn't care. In the heat of this battle, in the anticipation for the coming engagement, he could but that depression he had felt before and put it to good use. He just wanted to lose himself in a good fight, where he'd be pushed to his limits, and he felt that this would be that fight. He wanted this, he needed this, he had been craving this for longer than he cared to admit. I may have left the Arena . . . but fighting will always be in y blood. This is who I am, this is who I always will be. Violence is the pen with which I express my inner thoughts, wrath is the muse from which the poetry of battle flows. I am a warrior, and I will never know peace. [@Lmpkio] [@Oblivion666] [@Lugubrious]
Nidhogg
Nidhogg barely even noticed Arthur's outraged, giving him as much attention as one would give a buzzing fly. His face showed a slight hint of annoyance, but he wouldn't do anything unless the boy stepped past his boundaries. In fact, if it wasn't for James, Arthur would be suffering from a bad case of Nidhogg's knee in his gut. Truly, his devotion is going to get him killed right quick one of this, though I don't know what'll be the cause: Trying to protect Georgie herself, or trying to keep me from insulting her. And all he has is in his arsenal is a magic that, in all honesty, is rather useless in the grand scheme of things too. Foolish boy with his head in the clouds. Instead of bothering with the boy, he simply waited for the woman to give her name, though he couldn't help but make a small comment of his own when those assembled commented on the previous match. "Hmm, they're indeed rather strong mages, but I'm sure that those in our guild would be more than capable of taking them on equal footing, at the very least. Maxie in particular comes to mind when it comes to facing off against that Indigo woman. It'd be a tricky fight, but I'm sure he'd be able to come out victorious as long as he kept his wits about him." [@rivaan] [@Lunarlors34] [@Shikaru]
