Rori Aherne
Now hearing voices, and curious as to what was going on, Rori turned their head back towards where people where. It seemed that the man with wood for an arm was now chatting with two other people. Turning their head slightly again Rori looked at these two people. They considered going over and introducing themselves, after all it was easier to enter a conversation than start one. It took them a while to decide but eventually Rori stood up and moved over to where the three where talking. They didn't say anything at first, looking awkwardly at the other three from the side and trying to decide whether to just change their mind and go back over to where they had been sitting. However... they were going to have to make new friends with the new year. There were a lot of new people this time, it seemed. Rori recognised very few of the people around. Deciding to stop being a wimp, and have some confidence in their social abilities, Rori managed to get out a few words to the three people who were talking. "Apologies for being rude, but I was wondering if I could enter this conversations. Introductions do seem like a good idea." They smiled. "I'm Rori."

Synnove Ovesen
There was no more space on the paper. Great. Now Syn was bored all over again. Hopefully they would reach the island soon. Then she could locate a computer, or start building more things. Though she would have to speak to whatever room mate she got, which could be interesting. With a frown Syn crumpled up the piece of paper, stuffing it and the pen in her pocket as she stood up and walked outside. The air was brisk and cold but it could be worse. The choppy water around them was something she could do without. Getting wet didn't particularly mix with electricity. Because of the coldness there were less people outside, thankfully, and she ignored those that were. The reasonably tall blonde rubbed her hands together with a shiver but didn't move back inside for the warmth. They'd be there soon, hopefully, and she would have a better view of the place as they came into dock from here.
