[@Spriggs27] Well, my character doesn't have any skill or [s]class[/s] so I don't mind that insult to my choice. Maybe a lack of skill or class is why the hunter he took it from is dead, it's not like he [i]bought[/i] the gun. 

As for having no weapons, he doesn't need them of course, but why wouldn't he pick them up from a corpse?

Edit: Unless you contrive some special effect of the Onyxian virus which makes them unable to use conventional weapons, I'm going to stick to my decision, and if he can't have them at the start I'll just pick up the first guns I can get in the IC. A note on the Desert Eagle, I purposefully chose a gun weaker than Kol's S&W 500, which you didn't have any comment on.
