How's YOUR day going?
Name Mao Collins Epithet/Moniker/Code name Age 25 Gender Male Morality Chaotic Neutral Appearance: See the above picture. As far as physical attributes go, Mao stands at about 5'9" and weighs just a touch over 147 pounds. Personality Three years of being trapped inside of Kyushu's walls by himself has given Mao a very darwinist point of view, as well as a very cynical outlook on life. Mao is a survivor first and foremost, having dropped all notions of pride and more than a few morals to ensure that he can make it from one day to another, even if doing so means rooting through garbage for his next meal. Mao is generally untrusting of most people he comes across, but not outwardly hostile towards anyone provided that they do not threaten him or have anything that he desperately needs. Although skilled in a fight, Mao is much more likely to run if the opportunity presents itself. It's ill advised to expect him to have your back at any given time if he's not being provided with some sort of incentive, and even then he might turn on you if offered a better deal. History Mao's life was relatively simple up until his stranding in Kyushu: As a Chinese American born in Colorado, Mao had a pretty easy set up going for himself. He went to school, held several small jobs, hung out with friends and family, and took up changquan in his spare time. Around the time he graduated from college with his bachelors in economics, a few of Mao's friends decided to celebrate their own graduations by booking a trip to japan and decided to invite Mao along under the belief that he'd know the place better than they did. Despite the initial awkwardness of explaining to everyone that he was chinese and not japanese, Mao still decided to tag along for the experience. This decision would ultimately turn out to be a pretty piss poor one, as he and his friends found themselves on kyushu just before the biological "attack" occurred. Mao was fortunate enough not to be infected by the virus and avoid being devoured by the first wave of invalids, his friends, however, where not so fortunate, either being torn to shreds or mutating into the creatures themselves. Mao's attempts to leave the island were thwarted rather quickly by the rapid response of the government and military, forcing him to instead buckle down and try to survive. It's been three years now since he was trapped inside the quarantine zone. Mao has seen and done more horrible things than he cares to remember for the sake of surviving, but one way or another he's getting of Kyushu. Skills Mao is quite skilled in the usage of Changquan with Iron Fist being his particular specialty, he is also quite versitile in the usage of his Dao against unarmored enemies. Mao is clever and agile, having become skilled in the art of ducking out of confrontation to the point that he has mapped out several shortcuts and backroads in several areas to allow him to run away faster and more efficiently. Countless bouts of trial and error have molded Mao into a well adapted survivor, making him numb to most of the atrocities he bears witness to, as well as giving him the ability to stomach many of the unsavory tasks he has to do to keep going. Weapons: One Dao, three knives (one combat, the others a skinning and filleting knife), and a h&k USP 9mm with about fourteen rounds of ammunition left Equipment Book bag, three boxes of bandages, a roll of duct tape, water canteen, water filtration straw, eight pounds of reserve dry and canned food, can opener, a zippo lighter, flint, and a flashlight. Other He's particularly wary around Onyxians. He also suffered from an early onset of male pattern baldness and gets touchy about his lack of hair.
