Basic information: Name: Vurwe Highorin Race: Altmer Age: 25 Gender: Female Birthsign: The Lady Place of Origin: Summerset Isles, Firsthold Appearance: A exceptionally clean altmer with sharp yellow eyes and strong, angular cheekbones. She stands at about 6'1 and her pale yellow hair extends to her shoulders. She keeps the strands of hair in front of her ears bound by small bronze clasps, giving them a sort of thin hourglass effect. Her eyes are hard with a brow that makes it appear as if she is in a constant state of disapproval. She wears a simple brown warm fur cloak and a bright green filigree dress. The dress seems to have had a furry hood stitched on. She keeps a bronzed amulet with the symbol of a bird wreathed in flames flying over a roiling sea. Background: A lady of the court of Summerset and Thalmor supporter, Vurwe has recently gained and lost the position of the duchess of Firsthold. She gained this position when her father, in a series of duplicitous actions from an opposing Duke who supported a shadowy organization -The Beautiful- was assassinated. She was too young and inexperienced to actually hold court and was ousted by her Aunt. Being sent far off to avoid any further confrontations over succession. Being sent off with a modicum of gold and provisions, she hoped to regain favor in the family by rousing political support in Skyrim or High Rock. She's traveled about Highrock and having no luck there traveled towards Skyrim in an attempt to appeal to the Dovahkins hatred of the Aldmeri Dominion. Unfortunately, she was captured by the Forsworn occupying the reach and held for ransom. They've been unable to really discern what lineage she's a part of, but they figure the pirates of Wayrest can provide more information on Summerset royal families. Prior to this unfortunate series of events, she mostly spent her time learning court politics, how to play the lute, dancing, fencing, the fundamentals of magic, dining etiquette, and the rigorous task of maintaining an appearance of apparent superiority. Her father was a Thalmor supporter and so she was too, reading much of their dogma in her studies. She gained an affinity for classical literature, especially that of organized plays. Her favorites were the ones with sharp and underhanded jabs, double entendre, and a large reveal at the end of who the deceit was truly orchestrated by. One night, he had an unfortunate shaving accident that lead to him falling out of a nearby window and then being confused for a passing quail by a local huntsman. During her adventures in High Rock she attempted to sway the five kingdoms into assisting with the assassination of Duke Ganron. She failed and for a brief moment considered traveling to Orsinium, but realizing they were Orcs and therefore unsuited for the subtlety of assassination or higher reasoning, declined this notion. She's gained something of an infamy for being beggar royalty in High Rock and among royalty there she is viewed as desperate. She's less beloved by almost every inn spanning the coastline for sneaking into rooms and refusing to pay when caught. A particularly irate innkeeper in Evermore is said to keep a bounty on her that says "Alive, Wanted for Return of Payment, also recompense for Injury of Hound and Slander." Recently she's fled from the Windhelm uprising, stealing in her and Gordos (a fat and large dunmer bard she is paying to basically be her servant) haste to flee what amounts to a wagon, the entire local smithy worth of metals, and two lazy horses. Using this she has somehow established a "Dwemer artifact" selling business in Dawnstar. Personality: Sharp, judgmental, and bitter, Vurwe is less likely to give positive advice than to tell you how you are doing it wrong. She is extremely racist, judgmental, and brash. Some of her favorite things including the arts, such as painting, sculpture, music, and dance. She is something of a perfectionist and dislikes being unclean or being ignorant of a subject. She is also an egotist and views herself as better than others.
