[@Cultural Titan] Not sure if you saw this when I posted before, so, I'll post it again.
Name: Drax Heron Appearance: 5’ 9”, short black hair, right dark blue eye, left blackish eye Age: 27 Gender: Male Race: Human Side: Light Weapons: Short sword, light crossbow, dirk Abilities/Powers: N/A Talents: Skilled fighter and shooter, could defeat perhaps a dozen fresh out of training soldiers at once, although that might be stretching his ability and he would probably draw them into a trap in that case, could shoot a head from about 200 metres away, 300 for the body. Agile, could dodge an obvious strike or a slow/clumsy one, instinct could perhaps save him from something like a horse coming at him. Good climber, with armour and weapons is not as good as without, but can still climb a building, just slower and without any difficult manoeuvres. Personality: Rough, possibly seen as impolite as he hasn’t spent much time around other people for a long time. Biography: At the age of 19, Drax was recruited into the Assassins Guild, after murdering his father, and leaving barely any evidence against himself. He joined for the money, he was 19 after all. He slowly rose up in the ranks, from Initiate to Agent to Assassin, and eventually became one of their Master Assassins, next to none except the Council Assassins and Guild Master. His final assignment was to kill a family of farmers who had apparently poisoned a plantations crops. He killed both the farmer and his wife, but could not bring himself to kill their child. He let the child go. He later found out that these people had done nothing wrong, that the plantation owner simply didn’t like them. This was what made him leave the Guild. But, the Guild doesn’t simply let someone who knows so many of their members faces and their secrets, go. So, his life on the run started. As he travelled he would help towns and townspeople with their problems from the truly wrong, be it bandits or raiders, or sometimes even pests (No, they’re not evil or whatever, but removing them can give you coin, just as the others can). Even though he’d taken all those quite possibly innocent lives year ago, the memories still haunt him, and he’ll do anything he can to redeem himself. Coming to this new land was an absolute disaster. So, he’d had to revert to his old ways. He became an assassin for hire. There were only two things different, he did a thorough background check on his targets, and he wasn’t part of an organisation anymore. Slowly he became renowned by the shady people of the kingdom, as both an assassin, and, more known by less shady people, a mercenary of sorts. He still never killed an innocent, but he realised that, even though the people he killed were not innocent by his standards, who was he to judge? And still, he was trying to redeem himself for killing people, by killing other people. So, he quit his job. He instead went looking for creatures of Darkness to hunt. He would pay for information on it, then he’d hunt it down, and destroy it. This became his life, and so he would not stop until he was dead. Extras: Is haunted by nightmares. (Note, everyone seems to be assuming that I'm going with the royal assassin idea I had, this is not so.)

Name: Jaiden Halden Appearance: 5’ 9”, fair skin, bright blue eyes, longish brown hair, chainmail under practical but not commoner clothes (White shirt, bit too big, long pants, black boots). Age: 16 Gender: Male Race: Human Side: Light Weapons: Short sword, dirk Abilities: N/A Talents: Skilled fighter, photographic memory, has the uncanny ability to seemingly appear out of nowhere. Personality: Friendly, slight jokester, polite Biography: Recruited from a young age to be Lethonel’s personal bodyguard and servant, due to his disease, Jaiden has helped Lethonel in any way he can over the years, and gone beyond just what his job requires of him. Even though two years his elder, Jaiden does not find himself bored with whatever Lethonel may draw him into doing. Before being recruited, Jaiden was the simple son of a farmer, who owned a farm just outside the city, and grew wheat, fruits and berries, and a baker, who baked all sorts of breads and sweets from his father’s produce along with anything she could get from the other stores such as sugar, who had played with Lethonel a few times in the city. Although these were usually short sessions, Jaiden was asked to become Lethonel’s protector about a year later, as it seemed that only a child could truly protect him, because of the fact that the guards always lost Lethonel. Remembering Jaiden from the year before, one of the Kingsguard followed up on him, reluctantly, and found out that Jaiden had been training in fighting for a while through his older brother, who had become a soldier, and was rather skilled. Jaiden, with the permission of his father, accepted the offer, originally for the money. When they first met, Jaiden was shy, too shy to join the other kids in playing, especially when he saw that one of them was of royal blood. Instead, it was not Jaiden who approached Lethonel, but rather Lethonel who approached Jaiden. Asking whether or not Jaiden wanted to join them, Jaiden refused, but later came back, nervous, and asked if he could still join. And that was when they first truly met. Lethonel snuck away from the Kingsguard as often as he could to get to the other kids there. After a while though, Lethonel stopped coming. Jaiden thought, after a week, that this was because he was a noble, and thought that playing with commoners was below him. He stopped trying to contact Lethonel after that until he was recruited as his protector/servant even when Lethonel bought several sweets from his mother’s bakery. Although they started off as simply servant and master, soon a friendship emerged, it started slowly, but soon flourished into what is was today, two friends, one looking after the other. After a while, Jaiden even stopped asking for money, simply asking to have a place to sleep and food and water to keep him alive. This request was dismissed, and he kept getting his pay, even though he no longer required it.
