She is taller than the average woman, especially one of her ethnicity, standing at around 5'10" and weighing in at 110 pounds. Though every muscle is outlined and taken care of from non-isometric exercise, her natural light weight in proportion to her height gives her a slim, willowy appearance. Dana herself is a pretty girl, with high cheeks, a button nose, and sculpted lips that are usually drawn in an assured half-smile or glancing around inquisitively - an expression that is more common than ever after her move to America. The only uncontrollable part of her appearance is her short chestnut hair, faintly highlighted with crimson, which frames her face in unruly tufts. Clothing Style: Frankly, it depends on where she is. Having spent most of her life in the rigid Japanese educational system and raised by a mother who made casual elegance her goal, on campus Dana's wardrobe tends to be fashionable and chic. Though not officially a school uniform (and much too relaxed besides,) she will rarely be seen in a class without a monochrome top on underneath a Chanel jacket, a tight skirt and slight heels. When out for a bite to eat, however, her clothing takes a large turn for the rebellious. If she wears a second layer at all, it will be a slim-fitting hoodie with a pocket large enough to stuff two hands and whatever electronic device they're holding inside. She's more likely to be found wearing a backless tank top and slim, tattered jeans, often with an unnecessarily tight red-and-black studded belt and a bracelet of the same color. A pair of casual footwear like TOMS or Keds usually substitutes for heels in cases like this. It's also worth noticing that, even when dressed up, Dana is not above getting dirty. In case of a fight that sparks up like a wildfire, as so many fights do, her jacket will be effortlessly flung to the dirt and her heels kicked off directly into her adversary's gut. Professionals have no problem fighting barefoot, after all; should she be any different?
Delving Deeper
Likes: *Dance Dance Revolution *Guitar Hero *Chanel *Gucci *High-quality leather *Italian food *French food *Diner food *Papa John's *Automobiles *Calisthenics *Gymnastics *Yoga *Yoga pants *Kendo *Kickboxing *Gadgetry *Wine *Sake *Blanket forts Dislikes: *Prada *Louis Vutton *Cheap leather *Buying new denim *Mexican food *Driving on the right side of the road *How easy it is to miss a little thing like a speed limit *Wrestling *Beer *Whiskey *Being chilly *Being made fun of *Stereotypes or slights regarding her father Fears: *Loneliness *Powerlessness *Dishonor *Airplanes *Boats *Fingertips scraping an empty wallet during a sale *No man alive Habits: *Crossing arms behind back *Crossing legs *Tilting head when staring at someone *Breaks silences with indeterminate and situational mouth noises Personality: ♦ Quiet ♦ Forceful ♦ Polite ♦ Curious Dana may sometimes say no more three sentences during the duration of a two hour conversation, but the fact that she tends towards aloofness in a conversational setting does not mean she's shy or timid. Rather, the daughter of Ares tends to look at a conversation partner with both hands cupping her chin, watching intensely for something behind the words and speaker. She may also choose to speak solely when it serves to earn her something - the culmination of being the daughter of a trial lawyer and an only child at that - but she's much more used to being straight-talking and frank than she is to manipulating people. If it comes down to that, that's why Dad made her eyes so big and her bottom lip so pouty. Dana's general choice of places to open up more tend to be anywhere where food is being served between two individuals, or on a shopping trip - things that entail both a reward and a chance for intimate conversation, removed from a small group. That said, she does have a quiet fascination with the wide open spaces that surround Olympus Academy, the total lack of hustle and bustle, and America's curious taste in idioms. Background: Believe it or not, even Olympians sometimes find themselves in a legal bind. Hermes' early bouts of thievery aside, not one god was taken to task for his or her sphere of influence quite so often as Ares, God of War. The bloodthirsty immortal would often find himself fighting a war with particular zeal and go too far in the eyes of man; in most instances, Zeus would allow Ares to spirit himself away, but once every few centuries the God of War was left to stew in his own hell. It was during one such situation in the last decade of the 20th century when Ares found himself on the wrong side of failed Yakuza interests in Japan, and a Yamaguchi-gumi retained lawyer was tasked to defend him from the investigation that followed. As absurd as it was, Ares followed the trial to completion, and was so impressed by the poise and cool under fire that his attorney displayed - not at all dissimilar to that of a trained elite - that the two soon fathered a child together. Said resultant seed, Harada Danaye, grew into a quiet, independent girl with a penchant for laissez-faire leadership, but leadership nonetheless, of most group activities within the school. This, coupled with increasingly frequent visits from Ares as she sprouted into adolescence, nurtured the belief in the God of War that perhaps his daughter wasn't cut out to languish alone amongst humans in Japan for the rest of her life, and she found herself directed to Olympus Academy in a new country across the world. Thus far, the experience has proved a healthy one for her, even if it has reinforced some of her more aloof traits. Extra: Hephaestus still best boy
Godly Information
Godly Parent: Ares Relationship With Godly Parent: One of mutual respect and courtesy - though not one of particular familial closeness, Dana strives to do right by her father's honor without falling into a state of bloodlust. Her failures in this regard tend to be a source of amusement for her father, however; whether or not Dana realizes this is unknown. Godly Abilities: Kiss Kiss!- The daughter of Ares is not particularly stocky, and though she is adept with several manners of weaponry she doesn't have much natural strength in her slim form. Using this power, Dana's body will react as though it's a phone hooked up to some invisible charger in a fight, channeling her feelings into a healthier source of adrenaline that increases her strength exponentially as her emotions grow hotter in a fight. Bang Bang!- As stated above, Dana is adept with most manner of weaponry and can amplify their force, turning even improvised projectiles into a weekend in bed groaning. A paper dart jury-rigged to a rubber band may shatter the glass on a classroom door in her hands; any baseball thrown at the back of your head may cause more than a normal hairline fracture; if she ever gets so much as a shotgun in her hands and has reason to point it at you, she may as well be wielding the reincarnated Enola Gay in the palms of her hands.

Everything seems to check out here. Used at one’s own mortal peril, unless you are fortunate enough to be on a very, very small list. Birth Date: 2/29 Age: 19 Gender: Female Sexuality: Not your business. (Bi)
In The Mirror
In Depth Appearance: Slightly above average height. Rebekah is striking in a decidedly understated manner. Much less understated is her exceptionally long black hair, frequently worn back in a ponytail (equestrian quips are uttered at one’s own risk) to keep it out of her way. Her complexion is a little shy of pale, as though she doesn’t spend as much time in the sun as some, but still more than others. Her eyes, on the other hand, are a blue gray. So gray, in fact, they strain what would normally be considered possible. Inheritance from her godly parent, if one had to guess. The color has been called ‘unnerving’ by those on the wrong end of her ire, and ‘intense’ by those who perceive her usual demeanor. A demeanor that generally leaves her expression stoic; mouth set in a neutral line, with her eyes focused intently on her latest project. Clothing Style: The specific reason for Rebekah’s understated appearance, in large part, would be her I-don’t-really-care-chic sense of fashion. She’s internally consistent in her choices, but she doesn’t care much about how she dresses. Jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoodie work as well as jeans, a shirt, and a sweater. For any and all occasions short of an event explicitly labeled “formal”, in fact. Sometimes her shirt will near a witticism or reference, other times it will be a solid color. Colors, however, generally tend towards the darker/bluer end of the spectrum. With a few notable exceptions, most will be some shade of blue, purple, green, black or gray. Footwear is strictly functional; sneakers. When it comes to bags, however, there are to be no compromises. Messenger style only, with a primary compartment suitable for carrying multiples books in addition to a 17” laptop. And on top of all of that, any chargers or notebooks she happens to be carrying. A small pocket for blue light-negating tinted glasses is a must, in the event of extended work time on the go. Completely separate from any work assigned to her, Rebekah will invariably have between one and half a dozen projects going on the side, ranging from research to invention. [*] Multitasking. Specifically, full attention during a conversation is quite uncommon. Rebekah generally multitasks at all times, so the lack of full attentiveness can be mistaken for dismissiveness. [*] Self-explanatory. The more focused she is, the more likely she is to be twirling a few strands of her hair. [*]Thinking out loud
Personality: ♦ Quiet ♦ Intense ♦ Calm ♦ Introverted Rebekah Cross is a firm believer in speaking only when she has something to say. Small talk for small talk’s sake simply fills a void that rarely needs filling. Idle chatter is neither informative nor purposeful, so she rarely indulges. Her quiet nature, however, belies a mind that never stops working. She never stops thinking, no matter the time of day, about whatever has her attention at that particular moment. Most people… Are very much a distraction. Idle chatter is the name of the game for many, and given that she doesn’t play ball, she can come across as very detached. Not quite antisocial, but definitely introverted. If one manages to get in her good books, however, they’ve earned a long-term friend. One that, to the shock of many, doesn’t really stop talking. Long diatribes are a firm indicator, unbeknownst to many, that she actually cares enough to tell you what she’s thinking. Background: Athena has never been quite like the other Gods or Goddesses. What attracts many is meaningless in her eyes, while what is meaningless to many is meaningful. As a Goddess of Wisdom, she is attracted by exactly that. Wisdom. Which goes a long way to explaining why she was drawn to a small-time author in the American Southwest. Their relationship wasn’t very long, but it was long enough for Rebekah to be conceived. They parted on very pleasant terms; part of wisdom is knowing when something won’t work, and expecting a relationship with an immortal Goddess to last is definitely on that list. That isn’t to say, however, that they ceased all contact; unlike some of her siblings, Athena stopped in from time to time to see her daughter. Advise Rebekah’s father on his writing career when he was out of ideas, as well. She isn’t the Goddess of Inspiration for nothing. Nor was Rebekah her daughter for nothing. She showed an exceptional intelligence from a very early age, and worked out for herself (long before her father was ready to tell her) that her mother wasn’t quite normal. Both parents gave her the full explanation when she was barely in her teens. If anything the knowledge made her more driven. She was a high school graduate by sixteen, and taking classes at the local university by seventeen. Despite offers of admission from more prestigious schools, supporting her attendance financially wasn’t a possibility. Not right away, at least. She intended (and intends) to transfer schools in order to finish her degree, but Olympus Academy is another step on the road before she does. She took a break from university courses on her mother’s suggestion, recognizing that while she could learn normal subjects with ease whenever she wanted, the understanding of her heritage that the Academy offered couldn’t be found elsewhere. Extra:
Godly Information
Godly Parent:Athena Relationship With Godly Parent: Friendly, though not necessarily all that close. Athena made an effort to be around during her daughter’s life, at least from time to time, but her very nature made it impossible to really be Rebekah’s mother. They’ve been closer since Rebekah learned of her real nature, but Athena is still more of a semi-maternal adviser to her than a family member. Whether this is exactly as she would like it, or if she would like something closer, is a piece of knowledge kept close to Rebekah’s chest. Godly Abilities: She Who Knows Herself: Fitting for the daughter of Athena, Rebekah is blessed with the ability to analyze and understand that which she sees. Be it magic, technology, or somewhere in between she can fathom its inner mechanics and principles. In simple terms, if she sees it, she can understand what makes it tick. Ancient’s Memory: More mundanely, Rebekah has a nearly perfect memory. What she sees, hears, feels, tastes, thinks or smells; she can remember all of it with perfect clarity. Hippeia: Rebekah is exceptionally fleet-footed; supernaturally so. Athena was worshipped under the title Hippeia, ‘of the horses’, for her invention of the chariot. From this aspect her daughter derives her godly speed and sure-footedness. Promachos: The First Fighter. She who fights in front. Though best remembered as a Goddess of Wisdom, Athena was a Goddess of Strategy, as well. Specifically embodying strength, the strategy of war, and justice. In this way she is as martial a figure as she is a wise one. From this her daughter inherited the ability to win her fights not through brute strength, but through preparation. With the proper understanding of her needs she can craft a tool, provided there is some kind of material at hand, and imbue it the properties she needs at that moment. As a Goddess of Strategy, known her her invention, Athena’s parentage permits Rebekah whatever tool or weapon she requires. Provided she has the wisdom to understand her needs.

[@Krayzikk] Everything checks out, but would it be too much to ask for a change in the color to something less eye-rapey? Something even slightly lighter or darker would be acceptable. Do that and you may also post Rebekah in the Chars Tab. :)
