I must have the wrong idea about the World of Wasted Dreams. Based on what I read about it so far and the comparison so far, I assumed (no doubt my first mistake) that we were in a world where everything is trying to kill us, madness and disease are as rampant as water and dust, and so forth. Yeah, that's me all over. I just thought it might be unrealistic in this unending, inexplicable, nightmarish miasma of death, rot, and torment that several characters might fall in love at first sight, dash passionately past the rat monsters and tentacle fiends, and nip off to the a nice graveyard for sexytimes.
As far as I know, you got the impression of WWD perfectly fine and correct. However, it's exactly when the world is all fucked up and all hope is lost that people tend to give in to their vices. In Maria's case, they are basically feeding and bedding girls who fancy her interest. [@ClocktowerEchos] On my end, you're ok, a minor cosmetic change wouldn't invalidate a character that has been already approved.
Right then, I'll simply accept this as a fundamentally different world than Bloodborne's, which is to be expected really. The central premise of the Souls series is that the world and everything it in it is doomed to entropy, which I suppose doesn't exactly make for a thrilling narrative. Go ahead with your love stories if it pleases you, I only ever meant to ask what I thought was a reasonable question; just don't expect my character to drop her morals and clothes at the first sight of a pretty face in affirmation of the human spirit.
That's why we have mind control via blood magic, right? Seriously now, you don't have to do anything that you don't want to, if you feel it's bothering you just say it and we will leave you be.
