That part was meant as a sort of joke in replying to maxxor's post. 

I'm not using it as my only argument. Being that the Jet is a hero jet it's likely made with the most advance tech and some alien tech meaning it would be way faster than a normal plane or jet as it is needed to travel much faster. 

we're supposed to be teen heroes... Maybe not at our lowest potential but definitely not at the highest...
