The only additional instruction that Meesei gave before the groups were formed was that at least one member of the pride join each group, as they were familiar with Pelletine's terrain. S'ajira approached Uthri, Peiter, and Sabine and sat down, apparently indicating that she was going to join them to make for the group of four. Meesei was in a group with Janius and Ra'kalesh, while Ahnasha was with Fendros and Colors. Kaleeth volunteered to stay behind to help watch the camp, along with Irenya and Ciinriel. 

As the groups were forming, La'khay walked up behind Gallus and Tzirret and placed a hand on both of their shoulders. "La'khay thinks she will join you two, if that is alright."

With the teams formed, Meesei reviewed the search pattern with them all, then instructed Kaleeth to be sure to build a fire later that evening. In the event that any of the teams became lost, they could attempt to find the smoke and use it as a marker to return.
