Argus Leandros
Argus chuckled as the darkness around his form thickened, his eyes gleaming as he began to focus his energies in preparation. Once he saw that his opponent had also drawn a sword, his grin could only grow wider, his anticipation for the fight to come growing ever stronger by the second. This is going to be a lot of fun, if only Glasses could just loosen up and enjoy it. Oh well, better for me that she doesn't. Argus closed his eyes, focusing all his attention in waiting for the right moment. He heard the on-rush of energy blading towards him, but he didn't move until the very last moment possible, slashing his sword upward with a mighty shout as the ground exploded into a beam of energy that blew everything within 5 meters of Argus either up into the air with it's force or launched them back a ways with it's shockwave. Once the bean dispersed, there'd be a big patched of wrecked earth. . . but no Argus, as he'd let the energy beam blast him up into the air, using this to buy time to store the energy used into his sword, giving it a menacing crimson glow. He then changed the propert of his magic to fire as he begin to freefall, blasting himself downward towards his target, with an explosive blast that was sure to catch Marlene's attention. By the times he noticed, however, he'd already be on top of her, twisting in the air and getting ready to hit her with his giant blade wreathed in black and crimson flames. However, before he would make contact, he simultaneously change the property to lightning and focus all of the anger he had currently stored inside of him from Marlrne into the power and impact of his next attack. "Crimson God's Mjolnir!" The ground would noticeable shake a bit, for as soon as Argus' blade made contact with whatever defense Marlene had risen, all that could be seen was a loud boom as the shockwave rushed over nearby trees and the two spectators, leaving things ruffled but unharmed. The same could not be said for the area hit by the attack, as it seemed that a large object had smashed into the ground, as deep cracks in the earth radiated from the scorched crater. Argus would land a few feet away, empty handed as the shock from the impact had blasted Crimson Nightmare from his hands. The sword was now stuck way up high in a tree, and while he could've easily gotten it back through re-quip, he refused to do so. This way, it'd be more challenging to see if he could get it back. Wow, she emits really fucking pissed at me. I did not think that her anger would cause something like that if I added it to Mjolnir. Well, won't be doing that again, nearly lost my hands with that one, and they're much to numb to wield a weapon right now. Shouldn't be a problem though, cause I doubt her sword survived that level of power and impact at close range. . . though I'm pretty sure she did. Argus took another prep stance, keeping alert for any signs of her anger she had and wondering when she'd next attack. He considered making a joke, but decided against it. She was angry enough as it was, no need to kick the bear if he wasn't getting anything from it. [@Lmpkio] [
