There is something I learned over the years of rping. If there is something I disagree with my GM I ask myself this question first: "Is it worth it? Is it worth it to make such a debate and argument?." Is being a little afraid of batman really a big deal, is feeling a punch really a big deal? The fact is no one is going to remember these minor points so I don't see why you would need to argue them. As for the whole 10 minute flight, they have teleportation, so making a 10 minute flight seems simple. Also I've done GMing before and it's really hard, thats why I like to give them breathing room as well and just go with the flow.
