Name: Solana, The Eternal. Also known as: The Sun, Light-giver, Mother and Wrath. Age: Unknown God Status: Goddess of the Sun Personality: It is hard to say, for so long she was void of emotion. Harsh and unforgiving in those times but before she was a confident, loving Goddess. She was always a challenge to please and had a fire in heart for her passions. Parents: Unknown Sexuality: Heterosexual Human Form: Simplicity [+] Godly Form: Enery Being [+] True Form: The Sun [+] Powers: Solar Embodiment- As one might think, Solana has complete control over the Sun and by extension, Light. She can use Solar energy for many tasks. Whether that be luminosity, fire manipulation or using it as a weapon. She is the Sun, and by right she has access to a vast amount of power. Creation- The ability to create or even change living beings, is known to a select few. Solana can use this power to mold life itself and then give it breath. Emotion Control- Solana can lock emotions of others, or unlock everything. It is a power that can be disastrous if used on one self... The only way to get out of this power is to feel the opposite of whats happened to you. Take for instance if you feel everything, then the opposite is feeling only one emotion and vice versa. Weapon: Solstice- A longsword of true beauty, Solstice was created from a thought, in a time even before her children. It has stood by Solana for countless eons amidst the beauty of space. When looking at it, one would only see a soft yellow light, glowing within her hand. Its ability is that it deflects all attacks against the wielder, when unsheathed. History (Pre-Earth bound): There was nothing once, a void so dark and cold not a soul could have hoped to survive but then, a quite flash and everything came into reality. Stars filled the void, constellations unlike anything previously seen and they were beautiful beyond belief. Solana was an infant amidst the newly born cosmos and life was bliss. The being that had spawned her had sacrificed itself so that she might live, so that she could live on within the confines of space, along with any others it had deemed worthy. What would become Solana drifted endlessly, without thought or purpose it floated through space aimlessly. That was until it came upon a small system, one in which it could call home and then she awoke. Her consciousness had been aware all along of what was going on it, it simply had not acted until the moment was right. One could say that she was on standby mode until the right conditions were met. She had not been the first one to arrive, nor the last and upon investigation she found another, one who would become the Moon. She grew to know him, they learned from each other and eventually found purpose in their new home. Perhaps one of the most notable things that she was learning, was emotion. Chief among them was love and Solana could not be happier with what she had at the moment. Eventually, the Sun and Moon began using their powers on Earth, which ended up with them creating life in a crude fashion. The creatures had short lifespans, grew old quickly and could not adapt to change. Year after year this went by and they slowly learned through trial and error on which was the best combination for survival. After they had perfected this art, Solana grew dissatisfied and craved more. This feeling had come from watching her creations have offspring so that they might continue on. Solana wanted her own. She received her wish, and her children were born from herself and her husband. Twelve children would be born, each one an aspect of her choice, so that they might keep the balance in the world their parents had created. The Moon and Sun then created the Heavens so that they could have a home of their own. The first six she adored unconditionally, loving them each in her own way but shortly after the seventh, her relationship with the moon became stressed. Before this would happen, in the twilight of her love, she had one more gift to give, which was humanity. They were normal, in the Gods image and lived good lives, dictated by other deities who controlled aspects of Earth. Perhaps they were the greatest feat that she would create with the Moon, but ultimately one which would dictate the foreseeable future. The Moon meanwhile, became difficult and secluded from her and Solana no longer felt his loving embrace when she needed it the most. His distance gave her great emotional stress, coupled with her duties as a chief deity, she decided there was only one choice that she could do and that was too turn off her emotions. She was in a dark place, that even the Sun could not go to. Though she loved her children dearly, they were not enough for her. No one knew that she had done this and that was perhaps, they greatest secret she would ever keep from her family. Since she no longer felt anything, her relationship with her children became one of neglect as she slowly slipped away from their lives. Iratze was soon created after, as she no longer felt like talking the moon or her children, so they both agreed to create a messenger for them to use. She was a useful tool in her eyes and perhaps if she had been able to feel at the time, she would have loved her like a daughter but this was not to happen. However, the Moon was persistent with his talk about prophecies to her, explaining why they were so important and what to do with their youngest daughter, Kyra. She quite bluntly said if the problem ever arrived then she would be taken care of, much to the dismissal of the Moon, so they both went their separate ways once again. Kyra however, had overheard this discussion and after Solana denied these charges, Kyra attacked. The scar that she left would never completely heal from her face and it almost made her feel something but it wasn't enough. She knew it wouldn't be likely for her daughter to be caught but put out a bounty nonetheless. It went on this way, Solana and her uncaring nature, until everything fell. History (Post-Earth bound): Brontes had always been different then those who lived in the sky and when he cast them out, she did the only thing was was natural and retreated back to the her private sanctuary, becoming one with Sun once more. If she could do anything for her children, she showed no sign of trying and simply continued her main function, providing light. During this time, one could say that Solana literally became the Sun and almost ceased to be if not for something so small, deep down in her heart, and it was her lost love. For seven thousand years this went on until an they day came, when she truly awoke. It like any other day, except the vision of her son, Amos, flash before her. He had become corrupted in the emotion that was Hatred, but then became himself again? Solana could not fully grasp the situation that was before her, Amos had changed? How? A small tingly sensation was what she felt as she saw him fade from existence, at the hand of Iratze, now fully corrupted. Her own child, her own flesh and blood had just ceased to be, now nothing but a stone. The emotional lock she had placed on herself so many years ago finally broke and the flood of emotions made her cry out in grief. Regret, sadness, desire, curiosity, all of these things flooded over her once more. She wept, "What have I done, my children? Amos, what happened to you? I...I must go to them.." She would be on Earth shortly. Motive: Forgiveness.
