Well, there was the ice storm a few years back that filled the highways with burning cars and trapped my family in our neighboorhood until a friend's son came down with five other guys and their chainsaws. Until then, we had to go at the downed trees all over the road with a flimsy saw that bent if you flicked it with your finder and a pocket knife.

So I'm pretty sure our weather is like a gigantic monster that wants nothing more than to toy with us mere humans.
