At least she had won and was placed in Wind (Earth would've been a disgrace to the Ael Clan name), although it slightly irritated her that her opponent had been placed in the same dorms. Of course, this was all a part of learning to not be so self-centered - she should be happy that they both were placed above terrible. The young ninja dashed down the stairs towards the dormitory corridors, hopping overhead of the crowd by jumping from head to head, she felt it was a swift enough way to reach her destination. Where the circular room extended into seven different sets of dormitory corridors, the students split to where they belonged. Surprisingly, it was an even split between Earth, Wind and Light, with only a few of the outliers heading towards the Dark corridor. Akemi snickered to herself, imagining Venwyn as being one of those; unfortunately, he had been deemed more successful than her. The girl gleamed at her room; it was much better than the tight, dirty closet that she was forced to call a bedroom at home. "Part of your ninja training." They would say, despite her always questioning why some of the other members had perfectly fine rooms. Opening the closet, she discovered outfits that she assumed labelled themselves as uniforms, however in her mind they could only be described as travesties. Quickly opening the suit case she had managed to bring to her room before anyone could notice her absence from the arena (Something useful from her skills), Akemi ripped open the fabric that she had asked her cousin Mary to sew in for her, as to hide her kunai, and rapidly collected all ten that had been lazily attached to the casing through sellotape. Afterwards, she held one in each hand and began to shred the awful green clothing which tainted her room, until only one outfit remained. "You always have to keep one alive, to warn the others." For some reason, she seemed to glare at it, as if it was an old foe. After about ten minutes of having a stare off with her suggested clothing, Akemi noticed the luxury item request form and began scanning her mind for any amenities that she may desire. All of the options - how could she ever decide? Oh wait, it was simple. She picked up the pen that was laid perfectly on the desk and wrote down her three choices; firstly, a daily coil of rope to create rope darts when combined with her kunai and for general use, secondly, raw meat to attract the less evolved of the students at the academy and manipulate and finally a grindstone to help keep her weapons nice and sharp. Obviously she would never harm another student with them, they were just to stop objects flying towards her and for self-defense. Then again, that would be a poor excuse when she would be found out with them, due to her knowledge of hand-to-hand and melee weapon combat, but they didn't have to know that. Leaving her suitcase mostly packed still, the young girl sauntered off to pick up a sandwich and beverage, yet she saw her family there, too. Akemi stared at Mary, inquisitive as to what she was looking at until her eyes then met Venwyn, who was staring at the refreshments. It was obvious that he was about to make a performance; who was she to miss out on that? Despite the comic event that was bound to ensue, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was a dark presence who had already acknowledged the short-term future, without even being there.
