A few years back I was working at a charity shop, and at Christmas it was just... Oh lord.  Oh dear lord.  And to make matters worse, the person in charge of the sound system most of the days I worked was a [i]huge [/i]fan of Cliff Richard.  And I'll tell you something, I'd rather listen to literally any other music than [i]bloody Cliff Richard[/i].  He's the dullest thing ever, basically the fucking nadir of music.  Slowly sapped my will to live during those tough times, which was kind of not exactly the best thing when you have to put up with Christmas shoppers and a sudden rise in the level of shoplifting.

Of course, my personal grievance this year is that I'm so emotionally exhausted from such a crappy year that it just doesn't feel like Christmas.  I just want the year to hurry up and end already.
