Premise - Strange things have been happening in the Enchanted Forest, located on the far most eastern edge of the 4th Kingdom, ruled by Mickey Mouse. Once full of light, the forest has grown dark and foreboding. The problem has persisted over the past year and things have grown steadily worst with time. Those who go into the forest rarely come back out and if they do return, it's not as they once were. Deciding that it was up to him to discover the reasons behind these changes has left his Kingdom in the hands of his Queen, Minnie with promises of his return. But weeks have passed and there has been no sign of him ever returning. In a panic the Queen sent a message out across the land asking for volunteers from the surrounding kingdoms. Anyone willing to help was urged to journey to the fourth kingdom to participate in a tournament. The winners of this tournament would then continue their journey together into the Forest to find the king. PER - Perception - Your ability to notice things that most might not. Increases your chance to find rare and useful things. INT - Intelligence - Your general knowledge of all things useful. Affects common sense CHA - Charisma - Your appearance and your affect on others around you. Your words can move people and its easy to make others like you. Tends to take leadership. END - Endurance - The amount of energy you have. How long you can go before having to rest. Also dictates how elusive you are in combat and how long you have to rest before you're well again. MAG - Magic - Dictates the amount of magical power you have in the game. Also determines how many spells your character has at a time. Special Abilities - Rare or unique abilities based off of location or possibly backstory. Usually most relevant in pre-made or canon characters. Strengths - Adds a bonus to a roll or affects. Weaknesses - Negatively affects a roll. Traits - Special abilities or bonuses given to you by the DM. Spell List - Detection Spells are percentage based. Attack Spells are determined by a D20. Saving throws determined by DM. Basic Spells: Detect Poison, Detect Magic, Torch Light, Endure Elements, Magic Shield, Fog, Languages, Detect Secret Doors, Charm, Magic Missile, Animate (small objects), Feather Fall, Heal small wounds Special Spells: Healing (Large wounds), Weather control, Animate (Large items), Telepathy, Telekinesis, Water manipulation, Fire manipulation, Control Elements, Poison Items, Flight (in need of special item), Breathe in water, Mind control, *Character Specials (for canon characters) How to figure Stats - For the sake of the game, each character is going to start at level 3. Every four levels earns a new Point to spend in your stats and a trait. Each Stat begins with 5 base points, in this case 5 is the middle of the road, not particularly amazing at this skill, but not bad at it either. At level 3 you get 6 points to spend on your stats. The higher the number the better you are at that particular trait. Each time you raise a number on your stats you're given bonus stats to use. The highest you can go is ten and you can never have a score of ten all across the board. A ten is near perfection at said skill with a 50% bonus success rate. A 7 is given a 25% bonus for success. 8 is given a 30%. 9 a 40%. A 6 may give you the slightest advantage over somebody who has a lower trait number than you. STR - 5 + 2 = 7 [25% bonus] PER - 5 + 1 = 6 CHA - 5 + 1 = 6 INT - 5 END - 5 + 2 = 7 [25% bonus] MAG - 5 Dice - Most of this game will be used with 2 D10. The outcome being a percentage. The higher the roll the better the outcome, although success of said roll will be determined by the DM. You will be told when to roll these dice and what your outcome is from your rolls. I say we have two options when it comes to dice rolling: A, you roll your own dice and be honest with your rolls or B, I roll your dice for you, which I know most people don't enjoy. I want to give everybody the benefit of the doubt, part of the fun of these games is letting the dice determine your fate. Magic - This is a unique twist to this particular game. Seeing as we're using a Disney universe as our background, it's only natural to find quite a bit of magic. Keep in mind that your character having magical abilities is entirely your choice. If you decide that you don't want your character to use magic, make sure to mark the MAG stat as VOID. Your number in this stat affects more than just your success rate, but also the amount of magic you possess. The higher the number the more spells you may possess. 5 = 2 basic spells. 7 = 2 basic spells + 1 special. 8 = 2 base + 2 special. 9 = 3 base + 2 special. 10 = 3 base + 3 special. You may earn bonuses to your rolls if the spell corresponds well with your character, particularly if using a canon character Canon - A set amount of canon's will be available. Each canon will come with it's own special ability and it will be considered to be a special spell, assuming that canon has magical abilities. Those with a magical ability will be marked with a * if this is the case for the character you selected, note that you may spend your points on whichever traits you wish, but 1 of those points MUST go into the MAG spot. I will also let you know what that characters special spell will be.
