"Buddy... You're really dead-set on thinking Krom's a good guy aren't you?" Takeshi asked as his brow furrowed, not quite having it in him to just say Shu was flat out wrong. "He probably just did what he was told for all we know, that doesn't make him a good guy, it makes him a person who takes orders. If our dad had a boss and they told him to be nice to us and he was, would our dad be a good guy then? No, he'd still be a jerk." There were genuinely good people and then people who acted nice, but weren't. If Shu couldn't tell the difference between the two then he was setting himself up to get seriously taken advantage of by others. All the more reason for him to hang around then, make sure his kid brother didn't get himself in a mess. Flushing a soft red Takeshi puffed himself up before sputtering incoherently, trying to come up with some sort of defense to his absence. "W-Well the guy doesn't like me! And I've been busy training! And I'm playing with you! He's busy getting better!" Still, he probably could have made time to see his friend, as it stood he was pretty much an ass for never stopping by. Letting out a long sigh at being caught out he nearly flew into Yumi when she stopped, skidding to a halt before watching her fly down to the man in question. Wow, they had found him quick. So June knew at least some of the boundaries they had now, that she couldn't assume herself to be on equal footing with her husband. Not that she felt wronged by it, but she wondered why exactly that was; back at the home Viral seemed to dislike Aito quite a bit, yet now he was practically saying only her husband could demand things of him. So he disliked Aito but he respected him enough to take orders? She supposed she could equate that to her own childhood of obeying her father, albeit it was more out of fear than respect that she had done so. "What?! No! Of course not! You're different than you were then, but you're still you. I don't want you to ever think that I'd want that, and neither do Aito or Vegeta! Viral, we want you regardless how you are, that's never going to change." She might have said more, but a sudden blur crashing down from the sky and throwing itself at Viral quickly silenced her. Watching stunned for a brief moment she realized who it was finally, relaxing and smiling amused as Viral became flustered over the affections. "She's just happy to see you, that's all!" June said, hiding a laugh behind her hand. "Yeah, I'm excited you're out and about Viral!" Yumi agreed, keeping a grip on her friend for as long as she could. When she was finally pried from Viral's shoulders she took a step back, smiling cheerfully as she wiped some of her bangs from her eyes. "I heard you were doing better, but look at you! You seem a lot better since we last talked, and that wasn't even that long ago! Oh I'm so proud that you've stuck through it all, you're going to be one hundred percent in no time!" So she was being a little bubbly right now, how could she not? Her friend whom she'd known all her life had been gravely ill, and yet here he was now walking around under his own accord. Not seeing his attendants, Aito and Vegeta, she figured he was healthy enough to go without frequent checks too, meaning huge improvements had been made. Resisting the urge to hug him again she glanced back as the others finally landed, smiling before turning her gaze back to Viral. "Oh, I brought some friends along, we wanted to come and say hi!" Takeshi had missed most of Yumi's animated conversation, but by the sounds of it she was awfully glad to see Viral. He had to admit too he didn't expect the Beastman to look as good as he did, having gotten used to the more sickly appearance he'd had. In fact if he didn't know any better he'd just say the guy was tired and nothing else, that's how improved it was. "Yeah, figured we'd just drop in and say hi real quick, see how it's going," Takeshi explained, pausing to ease Shu off of his back. Straightening out his shirt he gave the Beastman a once over before nodding approvingly, a grin crossing his face as he folded his arms. "Look at you, all up and ready to kick some butt again! You've gotta be stoked, you know? I mean you could probably take someone on right now!" he went on, smirking before pointing a thumb at his own chest and winking, "Heck, you might even be able to beat me."
