Rebecca nodded when Nina asked if Dexter could join Team Crescendo, feeling like they were really in synch for a moment, even if their persuasive teamwork wasn’t as effective as she’d hoped. “Well then,” Rebecca said as she began to leave. “I hope you come back with a really well- thought out reason to join the team!” She had to admit that she didn’t do a lot of composing, and mostly just sung whatever song was stuck in her head at the time. Her mother used to play the piano for her all the time, though, which was probably where she got it from. Sighing, she opened the door to her team’s room and flopped down on the bed. She was having trouble going to sleep again, so she pulled out her book again and tried to draw the horrific monster that they’d found in the plains. It was actually kind of tedious, considering that it basically looked like a couple of rectangles stuck together that were made out of more squares. Still, she thought she did a pretty good job. She wrote “NOPE” above the drawing before depositing it back in her bag. Though she had trouble staying asleep, she eventually managed to drift off until morning. “Huh?” The groggy Ralts asked as she fell out of bed. “Oh, yeah… that guy. So he totally didn’t pay us or anything yet, did he? He probably didn’t…” She eventually recovered and left with Nina, ranting about how the way things were like she usually did. She stopped when she noticed Dexter approaching, eager to hear his response. “Neat!” Rebecca said once he spoke. “We won’t let each other down, right? Well, I guess we’ll find out once we go out on a mission today. Hopefully it goes better than the last one… um… Thanks again for helping out with that, by the way…”
