[/quote] Dane saw nire go through the portal Abby made, and due to suspicion, he sent that info to shinji. Since he knew that legend typically used such tactics based on prior info he had gathered, he made the assumption that she was probably going to get roped into working with legend. A lot of the extra stuff I do happens off screen.
