Well it's easier to get away with given we only have one character each. So if you don't want to do it that's fine. But some others (Caits for example) can have many different people and various characters to reply to on top of running the RP and such. It can just make things easier sometimes.

But logically yes, it should be straight forward to know when someone has replied to you. It may be a moot point for you but perhaps not for others. There's a reason posts get overlooked and they need to be pointed out for a reply later.

As for ever needing mentions, I wish the TechTV forums had them like they do here back in 2003. Single thread RPs are cumbersome in my opinion once you surpass a certain number of characters. They work, but they can get messy.
