"Viral, that's not fair! June was probably trying to be respectful since you were working with them, she was giving everyone space I bet. You can't blame her for that," Yumi began, abashed that Viral would try making the woman as the bad guy in all of this, "I'm sure she would have-" "No Yumi, he's right... I could have done more, but instead I felt like I would be smothering Vegeta and Viral if I stuck around," June admitted as she lowered her gaze shamefully, "I know it's a lot to expect for either of them to welcome us back like this, so I figured we could give them time." She sincerely only wanted what was best for both boys, and at the time she had felt like space was just that. If they wanted to see her then they could have at any time, and their lack of visits told her maybe they weren't quite ready yet. At any rate she wanted to be the antithesis of Aito, that is she wanted to help Viral and Vegeta forget the work they were doing and relax, enjoy themselves for a while. Today however she'd realized maybe she wasn't up to task on that either, having no idea how to help Viral relax. This wasn't how Yumi had imagined their reunion, not at all. On one hand she could see where Viral was coming in all of this, yet at the same time he should really respect everyone else too. The situation was confusing for everyone, and she herself couldn't imagine how she might act after seeing her parents come back like Vegeta and Viral did. Even now she would imagine Vegeta felt strange for being with Aito, and Viral with June as well. Maybe they were out of touch with how things worked nowadays, but they should be given the benefit of the doubt in that they were only trying to help. In some strange way too she saw Takeshi's challenge as his own way of trying to support Viral, like he was wanting to prove to their friend he could fight. Either that or he was trying to stroke his own ego, which knowing Takeshi could be true too. Watching the two go back and forth she let out a silent sigh, stepping closer to June and placing a hand on her arm with a small smile. "They'll be okay, they do this a lot." If Takeshi was as hairy as Shu then he'd be visibly bristling with excitement by now. Clearly Viral was not at one hundred percent just yet, but this was the closest to it he had been in ages. "You? No, being worthy has nothing to do with it, I'm not saying I'm better," he answered, smiling as he pointed to Viral, "I see you as someone who has always been stronger than me, someone I have to fight to know my training isn't going to waste. Until I can beat you there's no real way of knowing what I'm doing is worth it." Back on Earth he had been saved a handful of times from Viral, and the only time he'd ever won was when the guy wasn't himself or sick. Those weren't victories to be proud of, they were empty wins against a person who was less than themselves. Frowning when Viral kept going on about it he let out a sigh, nodding his head before gesturing over his shoulder. "I'll bring it, but not here. Middle of a street in the city isn't the best place for this, you know? Come on, we'll go somewhere there's less stuff to break." The others were probably annoyed with him by now, but Takeshi had to do this. He needed someone to see if the way of fighting Krom pushed for really made a difference, and if he'd truly improved at all. Viral being healthy again could make him the strongest fighter of the group once more, who better to test it on? Since they hadn't gotten terribly far into the city it didn't take long to get out of it, backtracking a ways from where they had come to the edge by the forests. Only once they had passed the last building and found themselves in the open did Takeshi finally stop, turning to face Viral with a small smile, lowering himself with his left leg reaching back as his hands came up in a ready stance. "I know you want to kick my ass as much as I want to beat you, so let's both have fun with this alright?" Yumi couldn't believe they were actually doing this, going through with this ridiculous grudge match of theirs. Oh sure they could say it was for training but these two had always butted heads, this was no different. The fact both of them were willing to fight too left her with little to say to stop them, knowing they'd see it done one way or another. Watching Takeshi and Viral break off from the group she gave her head a shake of disbelief, placing her hands on her hips and looking down at Shu and T'charrl. "Why are boys so eager to fight like this...? I never understood..." she mumbled, letting out a sigh before sniffing, "It's like you've always got something to prove to each other."
