There had to be a reason for June leaving like she had, right? Maybe she was too nervous to face Viral and Vegeta right away, after all her kids weren't kids anymore, it was like meeting a whole new person. If she hadn't seen Viral for twenty years and was suddenly thrust into a situation where she had to talk to him she'd have been nervous too. Knowing arguing was only going to upset Viral further however Yumi kept her comments to herself, parting June with a reassuring smile and gentle pat of the shoulder. It wasn't her fault, and really when Aito was smothering Viral at this point it might even be best he was given a little space. Albeit that space was now being invaded by the enormous entity that was Takeshi's ego, eclipsing any hopes of being happy and instead showering him in annoyances. Why did boys feel the need to fight over everything? Shaking her head in disbelief Yumi followed the rest to a space more suitable for a brawl, finding they only traveled a few blocks to get to the end of the city again. Lots of back and forth today. "I mean I probably will win, but you never know, you know? Could walk away with an upset here and kick my butt," Takeshi admitted with a smirk, shrugging his shoulders. He would like to win and finally be able to say he was stronger than Viral, now that the guy was a bit more himself. Sure maybe he wasn't all there upstairs still but his body was getting back into it, and it wasn't as if he was fighting his friend's mind now was he? Easing into a stance out on the grass he laughed when threatened, though it was more an excited laugh than a taunting one. "If you can get me then I'll let you bury me, but don't expect it to be easy. I'm not going to just roll over and let you win. And glad I'm your outlet, I just hope there's enough in there to make this exciting." Maybe this was why he enjoyed fighting with Viral so much, he was the only one who was so competitive as to give a real fight without being an enemy. No one else was willing to just let loose when they sparred, it was something the Beastman could uniquely provide him. Sobering up when Viral started his attack he tried bearing in mind what Krom had told him, retaining a level head as he began deflecting punch after punch. Successfully doing so Takeshi then crossed his arms over his chest when kicked, sliding back along the ground but staying upright. Retaliating immediately he kicked off and dashed back at Viral, throwing his own quick punches. Best case scenario here would be both Viral and Takeshi were too tired to cause any more trouble and they could properly relax. History however told Yumi they were going to end up getting angry with each other, and then getting angry meant not getting along, with which meant there wasn't a snowball's chance in Hell of their group hanging out. That was the most likely outcome here, but she tried to keep optimistic and hope for some miracle too. Looking at T'charrl as he became guilty she quickly shook her head, holding up her hands with an apologetic smile. "No no, I didn't mean you exactly, or Shu. I just know a lot of boys who act like they do," Yumi explained hastily, "Always fighting or butting heads, trying to be the alpha male. You two are well behaved and nice, you're gentlemen. I guess they can be too, but they're usually too busy picking fights with their own shadows." She couldn't say she disliked either Viral or Takeshi for how they acted either, it just made being with them a little strenuous sometimes.
