A) You're too obsessed right now with MD.

B) When Mahz described Guildfall, he said the host scrubbed the servers. The only way taking command of the server OldGuild was hosted on would help would be if it kept records of all files for archival purposes like ifunny does. However, because of the way he worded it (particularly "scrubbing"), it appears that all data is lost forever.
