[b]Personality: Gentle as he is scatter brained, friendly as is anti-social. Matthew while a natural when speaking is more at home reading or writing. His memory is perfect and he can recall anything he's ever seen, however he's infamous for mixing up faces and names. He does his best to avoid fighting, as he finds banter and diplomacy far more challenging.[/b] 

[b]History: Growing up in Ylisse in a minor noble house, Matthew apprenticed under a Grand Master. He spent years learning the sword and spell, dueling and honing his magic under strict teachings. However at night's he slipped off to the local priest. Their he learned of how to speak to people and of Naga and Grima the great dragon gods of old who had fought for centuries and the Manaketes who they believe had some relation to the Naga. Finally his apprenticeship ended and he was named a tactician, however rather than stay and be toted about as some trophy by his parents he slipped out.

Traveling to Regna Ferox he began his career in arena fighting. While his early fights were loses he began to learn and soon taking on multiple opponents at once became a specialty of his. However after he had learned to fight the cunning men and women of the north he returned to Ylisse, he studied in the temples. He prayed and learned more legends, reading over the old tomes and books they had on file. He then moved on to working with nobles and diplomat's to negotiate trade between Ylisse's noble families and merchants. He spent the past five years helping reading and working with other's in an attempt to learn better social skills. Since he has spent most of his life fighting he understand few things about average everyday life, he is learning however. [/b]
