In all the commotion, Adrian had simply steeped back to let all the other people do their thing. Although some difficulties had been there in breaking the boat out from under the ice, the important thing was that their transportation was freed from the frozen 'water'. He had boarded the ship calmly, and was slightly startled when the trireme moved forward seemingly on its own accord. He wasn't too surprised at the idea of a boat sailing itself. After all, they were sailing into a so fell the gods could not reach it. He leaned on the railing of the trireme as it sailed deeper, thinking about his companions. Uxzan, Eclipse and that rocky fellow. They seemed dependable sorts. He wasn't sure what to think of the collector though, the man wasn't particularly known for working well with others. Unless working with others meant an almost 100% chance of death. What knew for thoguh, was that he did not like the feline man's attitude. Sure, he had made his position clear already, but there was still quite a chance they would come to blows sooner or later. Perhaps it would be good to go and talk to the people he did know he could trust, and of everyone present, the paladin seemed to be by far the most approachable. Just as he walked up to Eclipse though, Adrian noticed a light at the end of the tunnel they were in. How could that be possible? Weren't they far underground here? Nevertheless, the trireme sailed into the light of what was undeniably a sun. The light felt... off, like it was missing something, a certain... comforting warmth. then he looked back down, and was surprised to find out he was now standing on a longboat, though given the surroundings, a longboat was quite a fitting choice of transportation. He walked up besides eclipse to look at the phantoms at the river shore. Ocassionally, a soul from the rived washed up to join its fellow disbelievers in this cold landscape. "Hmm... This is quite a... frigid place. The lamentations of pagans and disbelievers don't help the mood either, wouldn't you agree?" As he looked over the frozen landscape, Adrian noticed something else that was missing. Something he had grown so accustomed to that its absence felt like a very part of his being had disappeared. He took A small amulet out of his pocket. A silver eagle holding a lance. Normally, the general's symbol felt comforting, but now... It felt like a simple hunk of useless metal... He really was on his own now. [@Wraithblade6]
