[@Ammokkx] Well, it's too early for anything right now. The characters have just met each other. I don't think they have all acknowledge each other yet, but over time I'm sure bonds will be formed between them.

As for volunteers, where Shinrei would frown at anyone choosing him as a participant it isn't in his nature to refuse any form of duel. The only time he'd object is when people harass him like Leander is doing right now and that's only, because they are just vexatious and not worth paying any attention to. He doesn't really care what dorm challenges him either. If they aren't someone that is a monotonous he'll at least acknowledge and adhere toward their request to duel him.
