Honestly, I advise against this. It's a slow start that appears to have a tendency of dropping players due to a slow pace and lack of actual events.

Instead, I would prefer that we've already been at the school for a month or so to, as you said, get straight into the action. Every RP based on X-Men that I have been in has started the same way and always ends before the first lesson ever begins.

I'd advise that we do something else for a change.
