Saku's hair is dark blue, and her eyes are lime green. Her favored clothing tends to be silvers and blues.[/url] As a member of the diminutive Lac'li race, she is comparable in appearance to the female children of many human-like races and stands at four feet and one inch in height. Indeed, the entire race looks like children to outsiders.
[*][u][b]Personality[/b][/u]: Saku Rira is a serious person, dedicated fully to the Jedi Order. She does her best to do exactly what a jedi should do, be one who upholds peace in the galaxy and defends the innocent. However, she is prone to frustration or annoyance, especially when she is not taken seriously due to her stature, or when she is encountered with behavior she finds foolish, or endangering. In spite of this, her greatest goal is the defense of the innocent and her allies. She simply desires to be a proud member of the Jedi Order in full. And indeed, she holds no small amount of pride in her capabilities as a duelist. Saku feels a great loyalty to the Jedi Order, and therefore keeps her anger in check, even if she cannot help but be frustrated in some situations. After all, it is not emotion of anger that drives you to the dark side, but it is letting it rule you. Saku is somewhat more relaxed when not on active duty, willing to play games or talk with friends. When conducting the duties of a Jedi, however, she is focused and refuses to be distracted. Saku is deeply fond of dueling and sparring matches, and is well versed in various methods of both lethal and nonlethal defeat of an opponent.

[*][u][b]Skills[/b][/u]: Saku is an excellent duelist, one of the best in her home temple on Dantooine.She specializes in the less-frequently utilized Form II(Makashi) of Lightsaber combat due to her fondness for dueling. That being said, she is capable of more defensive action in long-ranged fights s well. Saku has memorized the traditional Lac'li folk song "Star Eye", though she is embarrassed to admit this.
[*][u][b]Abilities[/b][/u]: Saku's strength in the Force is relatively average. She struggles to get a handle on the more abstract Force abilities. Instead, her focus is on more tangible abilities, such as increasing her agility, pushing or pulling objects or opponents, and enhancing her jumping capability. Of course, as one sensitive to the Force, she can sense things, especially things with a serious impact on the Force.
[*][u][b]Equipment[/b][/u]: Saku carries a pale purple lightsaber, with a silver and gold hilt with a mildly elegant design. She also carries a novel called "[i]In Night Beyond Stars[/i]", a piece of (rather action-packed)historical fiction, to read in her free time. She has a commlink as well.
[*][u][b]Brief Backstory[/b][/u]: Saku Rira was born on Kirital, the Lac'li homeworld. During her childhood, she felt rather aimless, aside from a dislike of the Empire passed from her parents to her. She did, however, enjoy play-fighting with other Lac'li children, especially "duels" using sticks. When the Emperor was killed, and the Empire eventually crumbled into the Remnant, she joined the celebration that slowly spread across the galaxy. At sixteen years old, her sensitivity to the Force was discovered by Luke Skywalker and another jedi, and she was invited to become a Jedi. Here, she found her childhood fantasies of sword duels, and also soon came to strive to be a loyal Jedi who defended the innocent. While her training in the Force faltered when it came to abstract applications, Saku's skill in dueling excelled, and her loyalty and dedication to the ideals of defending peace made her a fine pupil. She was only recently knighted a year ago, after being moved to the newly-founded Dantooine temple due to its closer proximity to her home planet.[/list]

[*][u][b]Personality[/b][/u]: Fan is a fairly friendly, polite girl. She enjoys talking to the rest of her squadron, and gets along with them very well, but she is sometimes more reserved and shy towards people she has not previously met. She has a more difficult time letting loose and simply freely talking to someone she has never spoken to before. However, Fan remains polite and still attempts to be friendly towards them, to try and get past her knee-jerk reaction of shyness. Fan absolutely adores being a pilot, finding the experience of flying her X-wing to be an absolutely wonderful one. She spends a great deal of time pouring over the details of newly-released fighters, memorizing many technical aspects of old and new spacecraft above and beyond even what a pilot needs to know. But by far the thing she loves most is explosives. Capable of utilizing them on foot as well for demolition duty, Fan has an extremely deep love of making things explode, whether it be using her fighter's proton torpedoes or using a detonation charge.

[*][u][b]Skills[/b][/u]: Fan is a decently skillful pilot, and as a pilot of the New Republic she has training not only in the flying of X-wings, but also in a number of other fighters, such as the A-wing and the B-wing. Fan has training in handling high explosives on foot, as well. She has a deep technical knowledge of various forms of military hardware, though this is almost entirely focused in fighters and technological advances made in them. She can also competently use blasters, her best skill being in blaster pistols. Finally, Fan's ability to cook Corellian Redbelly is considered rather impressive.

Ten years old when news of the Battle of Endor slowly spread through the galaxy, it inspired her to become a pilot for the eventual New Republic. Prior to her enlistment, Fan poured over technical specifications for fighters such as X-Wings, Y-Wings, B-Wings, and A-wings, and found herself deeply fascinated with them. As a pilot, while she was not among the most skilled, she was still a highly competent pilot. She was also given training in the handling of explosives. Eventually she was assigned to a squadron, which now assists the New Republic scout team heading to Nar Shaddaa.[/list]
