I'd only recommend it if you buy it literally in the next five days. It's good, but it's not a dbz fighting game. It's an mmo dressed like one. Sort of like how fallout 4 is skyrim after a stroke dressed as a fallout game. Xenoverse's value is about 22 dollars, and it's on sale for the first time since coming out (except one time when it was 5 percent off) for the game plus all dlc at a little under 40, as opposed to 80 or more for both. So it's either now or never unless you want to way overpay. Basically, do you want to pay for time or quality. I've dropped 45 hours and not 100 percented it yet, but once you get past the story and the post game stories, there's no reason to play anymore and it'll be boring. Choose saiyan, unlock super, unlock max charge, train under cell for perfect kamehameha, or with the dlc get "give me your energy, universe!" and super spirit bomb, go super, spam ults and you'll only ever lose by being incompetent or running out of time. There was this one boss fight where he just flew away from me the whole time, occassionally using base blasts and I just perfect kame'd him to death. Only even went super to rp my char since it was this huge fight that was supposed to be really tough.
Don't worry; I'm keeping track of the Steam sale. But currently, I'm halting all spending right now in preparation for VR.
