As someone who has followed VR for over a year, I have determined that it is a worthy purchase decision (while the DK2 was not, which was incorrect since its resale value is higher than its price), and Oculus (funded with 2 billion from Facebook) has a slew of first party titles as well as thousands of titles from independent developers. I also tested the HTC Vive DK1 in October, and it was an almost life-changing experience. Over 300,00 VR headsets have been sold as of today, and there's more than enough content.
