Certainly he would have wealth after that point. But if Jingo sold all the factories and stocks he doesn't have a source of income anymore. You can drop production to 1 if you like and add 1 to both influence and assets, but remember your assets accumulate according to your production level each segment. You can do that sure, I would recommend investing those assets in a new business venture to increase your production level. Go for it.
