[@PerseusArchean] I would be genuinely surprised if Nyarlathotep even cared about the battle, let alone perished. He's typically more focused on appearing as an ancient pharoh, deceiving his cult followers with 'miracles' and plaguing the surrounding areas with nightmares, leaving nothing but chaos and destruction in his wake. If he were a D&D deity, he'd be Chaotic Evil. He has at least twenty-two recorded avatars (Including Samael, the Angel of Death/Venom of God), each one typically worshipped as a different deity by a different cult. Technically, you could even consider Lycurgus as another avatar of Nyarlathotep. Nyarlathotep himself only has one parent, the Outer God Azathoth. He ultimately wouldn't care about the battle outside of the destruction and chaos wrought by the conflict.
