You would think so, but one the only good things to come out of the Prequels was the legend of Darth Plaguis, a Sith Lord renowned to his ability to manipulate the force to heal his allies. He was even rumored to have created life with the technique. Also, there is the case of Cade Skywalker. He was a force user who fell to the dark side a few times because the only way he could heal people was tapping into the dark side of the Force.
