[@luclovers][@Cuccoruler] The Magna Pater stopped a mere second from eating Cia. Not because it was shocked or incapable of it though. It knew the value of so portable a hostage. Its grip upon the princess remained strong as it nearly buckled beneath the tremendous explosion. It couldn't see in the first place, but deep in its core it despised warmth and light with every molecule of its being. Even after the flash had faded, its slimy body shivered with frenetic hatred and pain. It had lost much of its thinking power from the stress. However... The cave would be dark again, and now filled to the brim with suffocating smoke. The monster's sonar could delve through the smog with ease, but the dragon had no way of knowing what was happening. She likely had little breathable air to herself, due to the fire's consumption of oxygen in the confined space. The Magna Pater could survive with far less air, given its ability to regulate metabolism. It began dragging itself along the ground towards the firebreather, giving Cia a harsh squeeze to try and make her squeal, perhaps snapping several teeny bones. It wanted Saaria to know that the little one still lived. If she tried to incinerate the cavern, the sweet smelling princess would burn too.
