What I’m Really Like
Nick is charismatic, intelligent and manipulative. All the hallmarks of a swindler and con man. He tends to be deemed sociopathic by professionals and he doesn't deny it. Nick needs to be in control, he is unable to allow someone he deals with to know more than him. If he is on the lower end of the knowledge struggle, he will turn his intense drive and intellect towards changing that fact. 

Outside of power struggles and his own neuroses, Nick is by all accounts a pleasant human to be associated with. He would have to be with his black book full of all the dealings that happen in the city between the legal and illegal members. The families all know his name and he thrives in the chaos.

All About My Past
Nick was born to a British stage actress and an American businessman. Raised in New York City itself, Nick found his flair for lying and manipulation at an early age. While his peers at school were still learning to fully form their letters, Nick instead found himself lying to his teachers for preferential treatment. A pulled pigtail at the right moment, a whisper about a boy smelling bad and his favorite, manipulating others to do his work. Of course, the sloppy lying of a 5-6 year old only got so far. Nick turned his mind back towards actually learning for a few years.

Until highschool happened. The rush of hormones, the need for attention became the undoing of the good model student Nick had been. Lies came back, manipulation became his way. In high school, everyone is trying to hide something and Nick knew how to get it. Thus began his little Black Book. Sordid secrets extended from his little domain into the real world, and Nick began to realize the sway he could have with his secrets. The rest of his life up until this point, as they say, history.
