Todd Reynolds
Great way to start off your fantastic journey of becoming a hunter, Reynolds. Show up late, give the most un-heroic scream in Beacon history, and now he felt he signed his own death warrant, and it wasn't because he was in a Grimm infested forest. This girl definitely gave a very "I will end you" vibe, but Todd wasn't much of a man to go fully on appearance to judge someone. After all, he did just land on her while staying alert for any bad guys. Her eyes were a terrific shade of blue, as if he were staring at the shore of the beach on a completely sunny day... But he didn't have much time to think more of that. "It's nice to meet you, Nova. And uh, I don't usually fall from big heights. That was a one time only thing." Todd said, giving another grin to try and lighten the mood. So these two would be partners for the rest of their time at Beacon, and Todd wasn't sure she was all too thrilled at this. He was about to ask her another question, but a faint snap caught his attention. He stood in battle stance, his harpoon tight in his hands. It was probably a doofy looking sight, a kid in leather armor holding a rusted fishing tool didn't show any intimidation... Until Litore glowed to life, and almost instantaneously, a magnificent trident was in the harpoon's place. The blades looked as if they were glowing, the shaft with carvings made by his town's ancestors, a ribbon tied to it that had his family's crest on it, and at the bottom was a crystal. Todd stared at the area he heard the sound, waiting for any other movement... And after what felt like a lifetime he lowered his weapon, turning back to Nova. "I don't think we're alo--" Todd heard another noise and turned around just in time to see a Grimm that was the size and shape of a wolf. Todd raised his trident, and planted the blades square into its chest as it leaped at the two. It gave a sinister whimper as Todd held it up in the air, a warrior's glare staring at the creature. He swung the trident over head, launching the creature into shrubs. He looked over at Nova, indicating that there could be more of them ready to charge. [@Akayaofthemoon]
