Well, I can, if you want, use a more "realistic" image, or I can give you a few reasons why it still works for Star Wars.

As already stated by [@NarcissisticPotato] there are a good amount of feline species in the Star Wars EU already firmly established.

The most radical one, in my opinion. I mean, they transform into giant cats when angry and agitated... xD

And then there are the http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Moorjhoni There is only one picture there, but they seem to have cat-ears and nose and stuff.

And the http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Farghul are pretty prominently cat-like

I could go on, but I think you're fairly capable of reading yourself :P

If you're still against it, I can also go http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cathar_(species) if you want, I have no issues with that.
