Annabella watched Alexei approach her and raised an eyebrow at what he said, the smirk not leaving her face. She stood up now and after getting the feeling in her legs again, put her hands on her hips, standing close in front of him, looking up at him as if trying to show him up or start a fight with him, though he was quite a bit taller than him, "It's just you I'm afraid, [I] Lexi[/I]." She said putting the emphasis on the name she knew he hated being called by, then went on to tease him more, "Aww what's the matter? Did I make the big bad wolf angery?"

Connor frowned at her explanation and sighed as he crossed his arms, moving around the table to sit back where he had been sitting. He knew she was lying to him, but decided to not say anything. He had just met her and it wasn't exactly his place to say anything. But still, he couldn't get the inhuman growl she had given out of his head. He sat down and looked up at her, "Okay...well...just be careful, alright? I don't trust that man."
