"Ready as I'll ever be. Might as well get going." Zara replied, handing him both magazines for his gun. "Bit of extra ammo. Also got a med kit. Though considering you seem to be fine already after getting shot several times, I guess it'll be more for me than you." The virus didn't exactly give her regenerative capabilities, so she would have to heal the normal way. Considering that, she would probably be quite reliant on Kevin to do most of the 'dirty work'. One or two human enemies, she could take without getting hurt. Anything more than that would pose a problem, for both her and their travel time most likely. As they stepped out Geoffrey watched them from the entrance to the bunker. He was never a man for sweet talk, or goodbyes for that matter. He had...different ways to show that he cared. Zara let Kevin lead the way. She didn't have a compass or navigation in her eye. Not something she needed where she had been living after all. The trip would be quite long though, so she hoped he wasn't the type to walk at a what she liked to refer to as a military pace. She was basically just a civilian, used to getting around on a bike. Too fast a pace, and this little excursion would be hell for her feet, to say the least. "So, you seem to be the type that gets around in the wastelands. Where do we go? I doubt we just bee-line it straight to your employers. Having to find shelter and all..." Right about now Zara kind of wished she had paid more attention to Geoffrey's lectures about surviving out there. She hadn't seen any need back then, since there was a nice abandoned bunker near the city she could live in.
