Yeah suppose that works without the magic thing, and like I said he still needs to know the magic name XD If he doesn't know the name he won't know what type it is, and he doesn't know every magic in the world (just all the common ones) so say he came up against 
Hmm yes good point, but I was viewing the black hole as similar to umm....what's his name. Umm....Gravity magic....ponytail....Grimoire heart.....Bluenote! That's his name XD He could control a blackhole or something similar, but yeah I'll scrap it. Thought of something else.
