"he's just trying to be nice ma'am" the bartender says respectfully and sagely as he gets her drinks ready and tosses micheal a lager which he catches after a small warning from the bartender. "he has a 'thing' for strong women" he adds as he wipes down the tables.

micheal catches the lager and cracks it open, sipping at it and thinking over how one goes about wooing someone not wanting to get wooed.
