From my knowledge, the Null Ray doesn't carry much destructive force. It simply disables technology. For a transformer, it's a lethal near one shot weapon. For a human (unless it somehow affects the electrical parts of the nervous system - heart, brain and such) I don't think it'd be a big deal. I'd say it's knock you out cold at least.
