Lux didn't like the idea of closing her eyes for a really long time but ... he'd told her to, so she did her very best not to open them, even when she heard him come back over to the desk and mess with some paper. after awhile her mind seemed to slow down and keeping her eyes closed was easier. and then she knew nothing for awhile.
