Thank you Stitches, it was a bit hard to write the backstory in, but it seemed a good moment to do so. It was the breaking point that Dan had been holding back, and I'm glad that he was able to let go with dignity. Especially with a little girl who needed so badly to hear the words that he wanted so badly to say; a mirror to his sister, who he is still trying to cope from the loss. It's a sad moment, one that though brief, I hoped would give a bit of insight for him. Hopefully it will help Poppy as well, even though she has been sheltered most of her life, she hasn't really ever [i]heard[/i] those words. I hope it helps a bit, but of course, that isn't a guarantee.
